PEACH to join up with Custom House Community Football Club

PEACH is happy to announce that next year Custom House Community Football Club, will be wearing the PEACH logo on their shirts! So we asked the Chairman Franklin Amadi to let us know a bit more about CHCFC.

Custom House Community Football Club was established after the merger between two local teams in 2013.  From the inception of the club our aim has been to offer competitive and recreational football to all members of our community. Not everybody in our community is a ‘young man’ and that is where you come in because we are always looking for more players and volunteers so we can facilitate football for women, children and eventually even those with disabilities so we can truly bring everyone in E16 together to be part of something positive – inclusion is something we take seriously.

Currently we have one team which provides competitive amateur football for 25 young men. They narrowly missed out on finishing as runners up in their division this season so there is a lot of hunger to work hard to be even better for next season. As a club we are adding a second men’s team for the 2017/18 season which will enable us to double participation! We also are having a community day on August 27th where we will be fundraising for Newham Foodbank this summer which we will be releasing more details about from our website Chcfc.co.uk.
