Over the May bank holiday weekend, local volunteers have been making great progress as our new Community Garden begins to take shape!
Volunteers helped to clear vegetation and rubbish from the garden ahead of the Community Construction Workshops which will see young people, aged between 10 -18, take part in a programme to construct the garden. This follows a design workshop where young people decided what the garden should contain, and how it should look.
A huge thank you to the volunteers who filled over a dozen large bags with rubbish, ensuring that the garden will be ready to be rebuilt later this month.
