Turning private struggle into public power

From neighbourhood conversations to hands-on workshops, PEACH events give us space to breathe. Relationships are built and ideas are shared. Join us to shape our future together.

Southend Trip

Join us for a day by the seaside in Southend — a chance to unwind, enjoy the beach, and spend quality time with neighbours. This will be a free trip, open to all residents of Canning Town and Custom House. We will be setting off from Vincent Street, Canning Town at 10am on Saturday 26th July, returning for 8pm. Please contact Anke at admin@peach-e16.org.uk or phone 07512 309559 for further details.

Summer Party

Join us on Saturday 28th June for a free Summer Party for all residents. This will be held from 1–5pm, with the venue to be confirmed shortly.

There will be free food and soft drinks available, and it’ll be a great chance to socialise with your friends and neighbours.

Community Conversations

We’ve hosted two recent events where local residents voiced concerns around housing, crime, and anti-social behaviour. Feedback was submitted to the Mayor of London’s Office via the London Housing Panel to influence city-level decisions.

Date: Saturday 13th July
Departure: 9:30am from Custom House Community Centre

Booking required. Contact info@peach-e16.org.uk or call 07512 309566 to reserve your place.

Clean Safe Streets

Be part of the movement to transform Custom House and Canning Town into cleaner, safer, and more connected communities. Regularly, neighbours come together to tackle litter, clear fly-tipping hotspots, and report unsafe areas — all while building stronger relationships on the ground.

Update Meeting with PILC

Legal Challenge Meeting Flyer

In conjunction with local residents, PILC have submitted a judicial review against the Mayor of London's decision to approve Phase One of the Custom House Regeneration Plans. Come and join us to hear an update on the legal challenge from PILC.
Thursday 29th May, 6:30pm, at River Church.
Food and childcare available.

Legal Rights Sessions

In partnership with Shelter, we delivered housing rights workshops—equipping tenants with tools to understand and protect their rights. These sessions are empowering our neighbours to act with confidence.

Community Garden Workshops

Community Garden Workshop

Young people are helping build our new Community Garden on Fords Park Road. It’s a space to learn new skills, meet others, and grow something beautiful together. When people have space, they grow. And when people grow, communities change.

Dates: May 27th–30th
Time: 1pm – 4pm each day
Location: Fords Park Road

To join, email anke.lugenbuhl@peach-e16.org.uk or call 07512 309566.
