A group of local young people have been having their say on what a brand-new community garden for our area should look like. PEACH is working with Build Up and E16 CLT to deliver a new community garden on Fords Park Road. Over \u00a340,000 in grant funding has been received to deliver the garden and as part of this process, we have been very keen to hear from young people in the area as to what the garden should include.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Workshops have taken place throughout the Easter school holidays where young people have been designing different features of the garden ahead of its construction in May. The final designs for the garden has been heavily influenced by the views of young people and their work at the design workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The construction of the garden will take place over the next few months with young people being involved in construction workshops later in May. This will provide local young people with the opportunity to become involved and to develop new construction and gardening skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
