Back in April members relaunched the PEACH Community Kitchen and it’s been going from strength to strength.
Every last Wednesday of the month, members have been coming together to share a home-cooked meal and socialise with their neighbours. Last month we were thrilled to welcome lots of new faces as word spread through the community about the quality of the cooking. A special mention goes to our incredible Community Kitchen Organising Committee who have put a great deal of thought and work into creating a warm and welcoming space.
Members sit at tables decorated with flowers and have their orders taken. They are served their meal while they sit and relax followed by a delicious dessert. The final meal of the year was on 22nd November but we’ll be back in January 2024! Join us again on Wednesday 31st January 2024, 6-8pm at River Church, Canning Town. We’d love to see you, your friends and family there.
To help us cover the cost of ingredients we ask for a £1 donation (50p for children) but no one is turned away if they can’t pay.
